Sabotage Remix
First of all Kudos to the Beastie Boys for allowing people to remix their music and share it. This remix can be found over on the official Beastie Boys remix forums and has proved rather popular (YaY!!) This an old remix I did of the classic track‘Sabotage’ by The Beastie Boys. This was one of the hardest remixes I have ever done. Period. It’s about 5 years old now, and the drift (drift is when the BPM slowly changes for those who don’t know) caused by musicians playing live in a recording studio, caused me no end of headaches whentrying to beat-map the track to other drum samples. This is one of the first tracks I ever released, so it’s not a polished as my recent stuff (although some people have said they like the rough cut'n'paste feel). Having said that, I will always have a soft spot for this remix.
